Roles:

[VOICE OF ALICE] Female, 20 to 40 years old, all ethnicities. ALICE, 29, is a strong and clear-eyed young woman who doesn’t let that keep her from being open to being playful and even giddy. She is precise and direct and doesn’t bother with sentimentality. She is capable of surprising herself, though she seems to know what she wants.

[VOICE OF PHIL] Male, 20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities. PHIL, 31, has a big loving heart and an optimistic spirit. He doesn’t always read people correctly but his good intentions and charismatic willingness to be a goofball see him through. He is at his best when he doesn’t overthink and trusts his instincts. He always has an idea and lots of energy.

Storyline:

This 75-minute play concerns the intimate lives of married couple ALICE and PHIL as they struggle to maintain their loving connection after a tragic and terrifying event. Graphic sexuality is described. No nudity is required. Play will be performed in ASL and English.
