Tickets on sale this March!
Inspired by a tragic incident in 1930s France, My Sister In This House explores class struggles and identity and what happens when the need for connection and companionship is ignored and abused. Wendy Kesselman’s 1980 play is based on the true story of the Papin Sisters, who, after suffering through an abusive childhood and then enduring years in an estranged workplace, resorted to haunting and brutal actions of revenge. This bizarre tale inspired many writers of the era, including Jean Genet (The Maids) and Jean Paul Sartre.
This production will utilize a combination of American Sign Language, spoken English and captioning.
